The Foundation recently awarded six scholarships to Chicago Police and Fire Training Academy (CPFTA) graduates. These students completed a two-year, after-school program which introduced them to careers in public safety.
The annual scholarships are awarded in memory of Lori Healey.
Lori was a wonderful woman who loved Chicago and left a legacy of making the city better for everyone. Lori was also a board member with the CFD Foundation.
